Volunteers are needed to help improve the Molalla River watershed
through River Cleanups, Trail Work Parties and Student Education
Field Trips. Phone 503-829-7858 for more information. Board of Directors
meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month, 7 PM, at the
Molalla Public Library. The public is invited.
- 4th Saturday of each month: Trail work party. Meet at Hardy
Creek Trailhead in the Molalla River Corridor at 10 AM. For more
information contact Bill Taylor, 503-829-6793.
- River Cleanups each Spring and Fall. Volunteers are treated
to a BBQ after the work is done.
- Horses, Hikers and Mountain Bikers Poker Ride/Hike in September
of each year. This is a fundraising event for trail improvements.
- Student Education Field Trips in the Spring, Summer and Fall.
(We can always use volunteer mentors). Mentor Training/Site Orientation
is provided. Email riverwatch@molalla.net for more details. A
sincere Thank You to the Mazamas Conservation Grant Committee
for helping to fund student activities and improve trails at Aquila
Vista!
- On-going -- Colton Middle School Creek Restoration. MRW assists
with project coordination and student mentoring.
